We further predicted that the ligand-receptor pairs CCL5-CCR1, SELPLG-SELL, CXCL10-CXCR3, and CXCL9-CXCR3 might be the key points of communication between immune cells, revealing the potential cellular communication basis of CD8+ T cells in the tumor microenvironment and contributing to a better understanding of melanoma development. The gene discussed is CXCL9; the disease is melanoma.
