The results of subgroup analysis showed that the expression levels of MUC4(HR = 2.04,95%CI 1.21–3.45) and MUC16 (HR = 2.10,95%CI 1.31–3.37) were significantly correlated with the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer, suggesting that patients with high expression of mucin 4 and 16 often have a poor prognosis. This evidence concerns the gene MUC16 and pancreatic neoplasm.
