CRP and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: Compared to flu patients with new‐onset neurological and neuropsychiatric symptoms, the neuro‐PASC COVID‐19 cohort was significantly older (57.2 ± 19.3 vs. 40.0 ± 24.0 years, p < 0.001), had fewer females (63.7% vs. 74.5%, p = 0.017), and higher hospitalization rate (43.6% vs. 12.8%, p < 0.001), BMI (p = 0.00068), CRP (p < 0.001), D‐dimer (p < 0.001), and BUN measurements (p < 0.001), but had lower oxygenation levels (p < 0.001), lymphocyte counts (p = 0.022), and COPD/asthma incidence (p < 0.001).
