Infection with single guide RNA (sgRNA) Cas9 lentivirus targeting regions on either side of the GGAA repeat led to the deletion of approximately 172 bp DNA (Figures 4A and S4A) and a concomitant decrease in the transcription of LOXHD1 in a pool population of SK-N-MC and RD-ES cells (Figure 4B).
