Among MGMT methylated patients, obesity was associated with shorter PFS (obese vs. non-obese: 11.3 (5.5–20.9) vs. 16.6 (12.1–22.1) months, p = 0.007; Fig. 1a) and OS (obese vs. non-obese: 22.9 (17.7–30.8) vs. 43.2 (32.5–54.4) months, p = 0.001, Fig. 1b). This evidence concerns the gene MGMT and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
