We then performed MSC-human CD34+ cell coculture experiments (Figure 7B) and found that coculture of healthy donor CD34+ cells with FA MSCs resulted in high levels of β-catenin accumulation (Figure 7C) and increased PROX1 expression (Figure 7D) compared with those cocultured with healthy donor MSCs. The gene discussed is CD34; the disease is Friedreich ataxia.
