The research had the following detailed aims: to investigate whether the 12 weeks of HIIT influenced a) the level of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, and leukocytes, as inflammation markers in the serum of PD patients; b) GFAP and S100beta levels as the neuroinflammation markers in the serum of PD patients; c) superoxide dismutase (SOD), and total glutathione (GSH) level and catalase (CAT) as antioxidant capacity markers in the serum of PD patients. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and Parkinson disease.
