GNAL and Dystonia: While the acute exposure to oxotremorine yielded slightly increased responses in VAL neurons and decreased responses in M1 neurons in WT mice, Gnal+/- mice in the asymptomatic state presented a significantly larger response to DN stimulations in all recorded structures compared to the changes induced by oxotremorine in WT animals (Figure 2C, Supplementary file 1c and d), indicating an increased excitability of the cerebello-thalamic pathways in asymptomatic Gnal+/- mice following the first dystonia induction.
