Overall, osimertinib provided better clinical benefits to patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC, particularly those with brain and bone metastases, and exon 19 deletion than 1st- and 2nd-generation EGFR-TKIs, while the efficacy was attenuated in patients with liver metastases and L858R mutation. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
