The quasi-absence of goblet cell hyperplasia (Fig. 1E,H) and the reduced gene expression of Muc5ac, a gene linked to mucus secretion, in the MSC-treated IL-13 TG mice (Fig. 1J) also indicated that Liproxstatin-1-primed hUC-MSCs exert anti-inflammatory effects in a murine model of chronic asthma. This evidence concerns the gene IL13 and chronic asthma.
