PTEN and ovarian endometrioid carcinoma: This frequency is lower than that reported by the OTTA consortium (18.9%; ref. 41); however, not all centers in the OTTA study performed pathology review of histologic slides (42), and it is, therefore, feasible that this may be an overestimation due to inclusion of a minority of pseudo-serous endometrioid ovarian carcinomas, which display a high frequency of PTEN disruption (41, 43).
