Interestingly, the data showed that MCM2 alone had an AUC >0.7 in 21 cancers, and MCM2 exhibited the highest predictive value in the prognostic model of CESC (AUC 0.998, CI 0.995-1), LUSC (AUC 0.996, CI 0.992-0.999), OV (AUC 0.994, CI 0.988-1) and UCS (AUC 0.998, CI 0.995-1), but the lowest predictive value for the prognostic model of THYM (AUC 0.767, CI 0.729-0.806). The gene discussed is MCM2; the disease is cancer.
