In BA mice, silencing or overexpression of GLI2 presented the same trend as in mIBECs, that is, significantly lower Snail and vimentin mRNA expression and significantly higher E-cadherin mRNA expression after overexpression of GLI2 in the livers of BA mice compared with controls; the opposite was observed after silencing of GLI2, except for α-SMA (all P < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene SNAI1 and breast angiosarcoma.
