In addition, to verify the prognostic value of these genes, Kaplan–Meier log-rank tests were implemented and the results revealed that GC patients with higher expression of FABP4, PI15, RNASE2, CGB5, INHBE, DUSP1, and CD36 showed significantly poorer OS than those with low expression, while patients with a higher expression of RLN2 showed the opposite trend. This evidence concerns the gene CD36 and gastric cancer.
