In a phase II trial in patients with advanced osteosarcoma progressing after chemotherapy, a combination of apatinib with camrelizumab, a humanized IgG4 κ monoclonal antibody against PD-1, achieved a median PFS of 6.2 months (95% CI 4.0-6.9 months), which is notably longer than 4 months with apatinib (31). This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1 and osteosarcoma.
