The paper is written to investigate the levels and significance of tumor markers [carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125), and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9)] and cytokines [interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-4, and IL-2] in serum and peritoneal lavage fluid of patients with peritoneal metastasis of gastric cancer. Here, IL6 is linked to neoplasm.
