Normal endometrial tissues showed stronger expression of CB1 (2.12 × 105 ± 0.08 × 105 in 20,000 μm2 of the blot, P < 0.0001) followed by ovaries with endometriosis (1.23 × 105 ± 0.14 × 105 in 20,000 μm2 of the blot, P < 0.001) and myometrium (0.75 × 105 ± 0.02 × 105 in 20,000 μm2 of the blot, P < 0.05) (Supplementary figure 1). The gene discussed is CNR1; the disease is endometriosis.
