Among these genes, upregulated expressions of GDF11 (Growth Differentiation Factor 11) and CD151 were associated with bone metastasis, whilst lower expressions of ARL17B (ADP-Ribosylation Factor-Like Protein 17), ATP2C1 (ATPase Secretory Pathway Ca2 + Transporting 1), C12orf35 (also named RESF1, Retroelement Silencing Factor 1 ), YTHDF2 (YTH N6-Methyladenosine RNA Binding Protein 2), PAFAH1B2 (Platelet Activating Factor Acetylhydrolase 1b Catalytic Subunit 2), PTGER3 (Prostaglandin E Receptor 3) and FASTKD2 (FAST Kinase Domains 2) are associated with higher risk of bone metastasis (Fig. 1E). This evidence concerns the gene ATP2C1 and bone metastasis.
