Specifically, the highest fourth of MBP was found to be associated with higher risks of lung function impairment (OR quartiles 4 vs. 1, 1.64; 95% CI, 1.17–2.31) in people without hypertension; lower risk of lung function impairment (OR quartiles 4 vs. 1, 1.06; 95% CI, 0.74–1.54) was found in participants with higher DDIR.
