Compared with that of the control group, the ventral hippocampus of the MS mice exhibited a significant increase in the mRNA level of IL-1β (p < 0.0001), IL-6 (p = 0.0003), TNFα (p < 0.0001), and a decrease in the expression of IL-10 (p = 0.0005), indicating an augmented inflammatory response. This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and myeloid sarcoma.
