The chemokine CXCL10/interferon-γ-inducible protein-10 (IP-10) expression is regulated by interferon-γ signaling and NF-κB activity, and enhanced expression and activity is implicated in a number of renal diseases (mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis, acute kidney injury, and LN) and transplant rejection [4,5,6]. Here, NFKB1 is linked to lobular neoplasia.
