Previous functional studies provided evidence that NRDC is a tumor-associated protein that is upregulated in numerous human cancers, including intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma [11], esophageal squamous cell carcinoma [13], and gastric cancer [14], and is associated with clinical characteristics, suggesting important roles for NRDC in tumor biology. This evidence concerns the gene NRDC and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
