After our SAveRUNNER/GSEA analysis identified the HNMT inhibitor amodiaquine as one of the best MS repurposable drug candidates, we investigated the HNMT protein distribution in the parenchyma of frontal cortex from 5 neuropathological confirmed cases of secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS) and 2 patients who died by non-neurological diseases (Table 1).
