PAM16 and prostate cancer: In view of the intra-mitochondria location of Magmas and its role of apoptosis inhibition as mentioned before, we initially expected that targeting mitochondria protein Magmas can induce predominant apoptotic cell death via mitochondria apoptosis, which is the tentative main mode of cell death of prostate cancer cells after treatment with BT#9 at the concentration of 10 or 20 μM.
