To identify the determinants of sensitivity to romidepsin alone or in combination with RAS downstream inhibitors (MEK and AKT inhibitors), we screened the NCI-60 panel (58 human cell lines from seven cancer tumor types), adding seven pancreatic cancer cell lines because they have a high prevalence of RAS mutation (97%) [1]. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
