ABCG2 and cancer: In fact, while the p75NTR FL was found to be mainly cytosolic (Figure 7a), the p75ICD could be both cytosolic and nuclear, with the nuclear localization being prevalent in epithelial cells prior to dysplastic progression (Figure 7b) and in both ABCG2-positive and negative cancer cells (Figure 7a), with a clear dysmorphism and enlarged nuclei.
