A comparison of the GO term and KEGG pathway analysis in human and zebrafish microglia showed common processes and pathways such as MHC protein binding, iron homeostasis, lysosomal processes, energy metabolism, and leukocyte-related processes (Figure 6I), indicating that the microglial responses to AD in zebrafish and humans are parallel for particular molecular pathways and genes (Figure 6J).
