Even though we did not find any works involving both CASP8 and XRCC1 and such tissues, there are a few studies in the global literature on the possible association of these genes and the development of different types of cancer, such as lung adenocarcinoma, breast cancer, gallbladder cancer, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, as well as gastric and colorectal cancers [32,47,48,49,50,51,52]. The gene discussed is XRCC1; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
