In the mouse model of CVB3-induced viral myocarditis, dapagliflozin inhibits the production and release of inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α, inhibiting macrophage polarization toward M1-type, reducing inflammatory infiltration, and significantly improving the survival rate of mice, these effects were depended on the activation of Stat3 signal pathway. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and viral myocarditis.
