A recent study revealed a pivotal non‐enzymatic function of PGAM1: in glioma, the overexpressed PGAM1 binds to the cytoplasmic phosphatase wild‐type p53‐induced phosphatase 1 and prevents its nuclear translocation and relevant dephosphorylated reaction, which decreases the curative effect of irradiation and chemotherapy [9]. This evidence concerns the gene PGAM1 and glioma.
