Statistically significant risk factors that were observed in nonsurvivors included older age (p = 0.001), anemia (p < 0.001), low platelet count (p < 0.001), higher total leucocyte count (p < 0.001), kidney dysfunction as diagnosed by elevated serum creatinine (p < 0.001) and blood urea (p < 0.001), and higher levels of inflammatory markers, such as IL-6 level (p < 0.001), procalcitonin (p < 0.001), D-dimer (p < 0.001), CRP (p < 0.001), Ferritin (p < 0.001), LDH (p < 0.001), and CT score >15 (p < 0.001).
