Therefore, our observation of a high number of PD-L1 colocalizing T cells, such as CD8+PD-L1+ cytotoxic T cells and CD8+PD-L1+ memory T cells, in advanced-stage CRC supports the use of ICIs, such as anti–PD-L1 drugs, in advanced-stage CRC.
