Although numerous studies have identified therapeutic vulnerabilities caused by ARID1A loss in ovarian clear cell carcinoma, including sensitivity to EZH2 inhibitors, Histone deacetylases (HDAC) inhibitors, and glutathione inhibitors (45–48), little is known about therapeutic selection conferred by ARID1A or AXIN1 loss in HCC. The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
