The IGF1R inhibitor BMS-536924 exhibited the enhancement in the circVAPA-silencing-caused suppressive effects on cell viability, colony formation, p-AKT, and p-S6RP in vitro and tumors’ size, volume, and weight in vivo, suggesting that BMS-536924 and circVAPA depletion might achieve a potential synergistic effect on the treatment of SCLC (Fig. 7A-G and Fig. S6A-D, F). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and small cell lung carcinoma.
