Patients with type 2 diabetes showed significantly increased weight, BMI, waist-hip ratio (WHR), systolic (SBP) and diastolic (DBP) blood pressure, triglycerides, fasting glucose and insulin, HbA1C, HOMA index, creatinine, alanine aminotransferase, gamma-glutamyl transferase, white blood cells, hemoglobin, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP). Here, CRP is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
