To further rule out the mechanism of RASAL2 regulating cyclin D1, we performed RNA sequencing-based on our RASAL2 overexpression and knockdown PCa cell models and co-analyzed with the predicted results of cyclin D1 upstream transcription factors obtained from Animal TFDB (http://bioinfo.life.hust.edu.cn/AnimalTFDB/), and found several potential transcription factors which might be responsible for RASAL2-induced cyclin D1 expression (Supplemental Fig. 4). This evidence concerns the gene RASAL2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
