To discover synthetic lethal target genes whose loss exacerbates the ROS-induced cell death in NSCLC with NRF2 hyperactivation, we conducted CRISPR-Cas9-based negative selection screens for antioxidant enzyme genes whose loss sensitized NSCLC cells to sub-lethal concentrations of β-Lapachone (Fig. S1A).
