In our previous study, intramuscular administration of autologous total IgG significantly increased serum IL-10 and IFN-γ levels in patients with atopic dermatitis[26]; however, there were no significant differences in the serum levels of IL-10 or IFN-γ before and after intramuscular administration of autologous total IgG in healthy human subjects. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and atopic eczema.
