Amyloid precursor proteins involved in CA are mainly immunoglobulin light chain (AL) and transthyretin (TTR), with two distinct transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR) types, namely hereditary or mutated (also known as ATTRv, v for variant) and wild type (ATTRwt) (2–4).
