When plasma CXCL3 and CEA values were combined for the diagnosis of CRC, the AUC increased to 0.85 (95% CI: 0.81~ 0.89) and the sensitivity and specificity to 0.74 and 0.96, respectively, indicating that CXCL3 was advantageous for the diagnosis of CRC.
