More importantly, overall survival analysis showed that patients with higher, moderate, or lower expression of 5-HT2B in the tumor tissue had a better 5-year survival rate than patients with no positive expression of 5-HT2B (P <0.0001, P <0.0001 and P <0.001, respectively), indicating that 5-HT2B protein level in colorectal tumor cells could serve as a predictor of patient survival. Here, HTR2B is linked to neoplasm.
