FCGRT and pemphigus: Antagonizing the FcRn, a major histocompatibility complex class I-like molecule involved in the recycling of IgG, and thereby responsible for the long half-life of IgG (24, 25), has been explored as a strategy to treat IgG-mediated autoimmune diseases such as generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) (26), immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) (27), or pemphigus (28).
