Shang et al. have shown that Ceruloplasmin (CP), a copper-containing glycoprotein and member of the multicopper oxidase family (Vashchenko and MacGillivray, 2013), can suppress erastin and RSL3 by regulating iron homeostasis and lipid reactive oxygen species in HCC cell lines HepG2 and Hep3B (Shang et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene CP and hepatocellular carcinoma.
