In our study, high expression of NEAT1 and low expression of miR-27a-3p were detected in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of AD patients, and the levels of serum NEAT1 and miR-27a-3p were positively correlated with the levels of cerebrospinal fluid NEAT1 and miR-27a-3p respectively, which indicating that the expression trend of NEAT1 and miR-27a-3p in peripheral circulation and cerebrospinal fluid was consistent, and the levels of serum NEAT1 and miR-27a-3p may reflect their expression in cerebrospinal fluid. Here, NEAT1 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
