Patients with high RDW/ALB ratio were older, had longer diabetes duration, greater proportion of severe DFUs and using insulin, lower proportion of anti-platelet therapy, higher HbA1c, and lower body mass index (BMI), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), eGFR, ALB, Hb, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (all P < 0.05). Here, GSTM1 is linked to diabetes mellitus.
