While comparing CCL2 protein levels in hypoxia treated miR‐210‐3p inhibitor transfected cells (Fig. 2M) with the cells incubated with 5‐Azacytidine in the presence of hypoxia (Fig. S3L), we noticed that hypoxia‐induced CCL2 expression primarily governs through the HIF‐1A–miR‐210‐3p axis rather than the HIF‐1A–DNMT axis in A549 lung cancer cells. The gene discussed is DNMT1; the disease is lung cancer.
