Multivariate analysis considered sarcopenia diagnosis as dependent variable controlled by all significant variables in the univariate analysis (BMI, waist circumference, TLM, albumin, and age); results have shown that low TLM (OR: 1.41, 95% CI [1.18; 1.69], p < 0.001) and obesity (OR: 38.2 [2.27; 644.12], p < 0.0012) were the most significant risk factors.
