Enrichment analysis showed that these targets are involved in various hyperuricemia-related pathways, such as the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway (hsa04151) (22), AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications (hsa04933), endocrine-resistance signaling pathway (hsa01522), fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis signaling pathway (hsa05418), and other pathways related to hyperuricemia and UA-induced inflammation. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and atherosclerosis.
