Thus, we aimed to evaluate the role of the methylation status of HeyL gene and its relation to the clinical findings of COVID-19 including pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, dry cough, diarrhea, and anosmia and ageusia via monitoring the routine proinflammatory biomarkers including C-reactive protein (CRP), ferritin, and D-dimer.
