To understand the link between Rnd1 and actin dynamic during viral and bacterial infection, we used a potent inhibitor of actin polymerisation, cytochalasin D. Cells which were initially expressing empty vector or Rnd1 were pre-treated with 20 μM cytochalasin D for 30 min, followed by infection with PR8 or LM. This evidence concerns the gene RND1 and bacterial infectious disease.
